My new syndicate insists catch pics are taken in the water so my usual method of using a bluetooth clicker wouldn’t be practical (big chance of dropping clicker etc) so needed to come up with something else

I’ve always liked capturing ‘candid’ shots that you might miss using a sound or movement app which takes a pic, or a burst when you tell it so made an alternative

By using Apples own ‘Shortcuts’ app I’ve made a way to easily capture self takes with a minimum of fuss, simply by saying ‘Siri, Take Fish Pics’. This will open your camera in photo mode and proceed to take a series of 10 photos. This leaves you to concentrate fully on the fish while the pics are being taken. 

As well as the pics you actually meant to take, chances are, the camera will take others that you didn’t e.g. just picking up the fish etc. While many of these will end up being deleted, chances are there will be a couple of really good ones you can use on your social media (I do alot of these in black & white)
