On a quick session too!
Back trouble has been just one of the problems Si has been up against recently and at times has questioned his angling future so we have all been relieved to see him getting back out there
He’s been putting in some shorter sessions (he says cos he struggles with his back on overnighters but we know it’s cos he’s scared of the dark) and been getting in among them with some cracking high doubles and 20’s
He’s only been able to fish a handful of these sessions but ventured out again and after some chats with the guys decided to target the bigger carp in lake 1
I was mid afternoon when the group call came through. On answering, we were greeted by a particularly smily Si !
“NO WAY!!??”
The smile said it all.. Imaginatively named The Big Common (there is also a ‘Big common’ on another lake on the complex), this is the biggest common in the lake and a well deserved reward for the dedication, perseverance and determination to get out there even when it’s been a struggle.
Well done mate!
